Applied research

Applied research has been carried out at the Kaunas Forestry and Environmental Engineering University of Applied Sciences  (KFEEUAS) since 2003.  For this purpose, applied research on order, as well as design plans (landscape, park, nursery etc.) and expertise of equipment or technologies are conducted. The most extensively this research is carried out in the fields of silvicultural technologies and environmental engineering. About  7-10 applied studies are conducted annually. Principal employers are state forest enterprises, the Ministry of Environment of the LR, municipalities and various industrial enterprises.
