Admission procedure of foreign nationals to KMAIK

Application for full-time studies

Please ensure that you submit your application before the deadline:

  • Foreign students: 30 June 2024

Academic year starts on 1 September 2024

STEP 1: Apply online

While submitting an online application, it is mandatory to fill in all the required data and submit electronic copies of all the required documents:

  • copy of your valid passport data page;
  • copies of a maturity certificate and its supplement (transcript) or other documents certifying secondary education;
  • SKVC decision (foreign qualifications providing access to higher education in Lithuania must be recognized by Lithuanian Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC). Application for the recognition of  at: https://epe.skvc.lt/en.
  • copy of English language certificate (not required if previous education was conducted in English).
  • Registration fee (100 EUR) payment

STEP 2: Application evaluation and results

Your application will be reviewed within 1 month. If any additional documents and/or information is required, you will be informed by email.

STEP 3: Study agreement and tuition fees

Successful applicants will receive Study agreement and a Proforma invoice for tuition fees. Tuition fees must be paid within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the invoice date and no later than before the start of the academic year.

 *In case the Student is refused a student visa, full amount of the tuition fee that has been paid shall be refunded.

STEP 4: Acceptance Letter

Following receipt of the signed Study agreement and payment of tuition fees, an Acceptance letter will be issued.

Once we confirm the receipt of the annual tuition fee, you may proceed further with arranging your arrival (visas, flights and accommodation).

During the entire application, selection and enrolment procedure we will keep in touch with you via email. Please make sure you read and respond to the instructions in time.

The minimum admission requirements:

• There is no entrance examination at KMAIK;

• The average grade point of exit (graduate) examination in the secondary school should be not lower than 50 (out of 100 points);

• For engineering studies (Hydrotechnical Engineering; Landscape Design, Cadastral Measurements of Real Estate, and Land Management), the grade point of exit (graduate) examination for mathematics and physics or chemistry should be not lower than 60;

• For agricultural/forestry studies (Forestry + Nature Tourism, and Horticulture/Gardening), the grade point of exit (graduate) examination for biology and mathematics or chemistry should be not lower than 60;

• Proficiency in English: prior to admission, you may need to demonstrate an adequate level of proficiency in English/ upon request we will help the student to improve his/her language skills (English courses)
