Laboratory of Dendrology

Dendrology is the science on plants, their characteristics and practical application. 

In the laboratory students gain knowledge on dendrology, acquire practical skills. Students take advantage of the basic educational means, such as: systematic and morphological collections of woody plants  (dried twigs, stands), seeds and fruit, tools and equipment necessary for the collection of raw material.

Landscape design, forestry and recreation students have the possibility to analyse the most important distinguishing traits of up to 330 plant species and 250 varieties.

In the laboratory, applying information technologies, ornamental criteria of woody plant species and their varieties are analysed.
