Kaunas Forestry and Environmental Engineering University of Applied Sciences (KFEEUAS) having modernized the methodology of studies and training basis owing to the means from EU structural funds, educates and requalifies specialists of forestry, landscape design, recreation, plantation husbandry, renewable eneregy resources, hydraulic engineering, cadastral surveys and real estate valuation, land management. All the specialities are in great demand. Graduates easily find jobs by acquired speciality. KFEEUAS is one of the fastest growing in Lithuania institutions of higher education.
The most significant achievements of our students: The best students - holders of memorial scholarships. Paulius Petronaitis - holder of the scholarship by Antanas Rukuiža. Lina Vaigauskaitė – holder of the scholarship by Juozas Rauktys. In 2011, in Rumšiškes third year forestry student Gediminas Stasiūnas became the winner of Lithuanian Logging Championship and overtook Andres Olesk, world champion of 2010, who took the 6th place.
In 2010 (Pled, Slovenia), first year forestry student Benas Šilinskas participated in the World Youth (up to 20 years) Ice-Hockey Championship within elite Lithuanian ice-hockey youth team.

In 2010 (Zagreb, Croatia), third-year forestry student Gediminas Stasiūnas became world champion (among juniors) in the event of combined sawing of roundwood products in the 29th World Logging Championship. In 2009 (Lohr a.Main, Germany), first-year forestry student Gediminas Stasiūnas became European champion in the delimbing event in the 8th Forestry Skills Championship. In 2008 (Rotterdam, Holland) – a team of landscape design students ( Dovydas Jakubauskas, Monika Čaplikaitė and Šarūnas Karūnaitis) became the winner of the fourth place in the European Championship of Landscape Architecture Students. In 2008, a joint team of forestry and landscape design students ( Paulina Bartusevičiutė, Simona Kazlauskaitė and Ramūnas Ramaška) designed a project „Development of Liberian Forestry“ and became the winners of the Republican competition „My Idea for Africa“. In 2007 (La Reid, Belgium), forestry student Povilas Penkaitis became champion of the European Forestry Skills Championship, while the team of the College, consisting of Mantas Bražiūnas, Povilas Penkaitis, Gediminas Stasiūnas and Povilas Vitkauskas, became the winners of bronze medals.
